“Grant Builders Ltd undertook a large scale project on our 1920s house. From our first meeting with Leon, we felt we were in safe hands. The project involved demolishing an existing extension and in its place constructing a two-storey part of the house with a new kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. The aim was for this extension to look like part of the original house – and it does. This included re-creating many period details including bay windows and brickwork that matches something built 100 years ago. The project was completed on time and to budget – what more could you ask for? Leon’s own employees could not be faulted in terms of their punctuality, cleanliness and politeness and all the contractors were also commendable.”

We contacted half a dozen local builders to quote for our build; a knock through from the kitchen to the dining room and adding a pitched roof extension across both those rooms to the back of the house. From the start we felt most comfortable with Leon, he helped with the design, planning a realistic schedule, and importantly stuck to the budget and schedule (only running over because we added so many “extras”). The team were great, friendly, tidy, and on hand to offer advice on the build. Great with the kids as well! Builds aren’t smooth sailing but Leon, Katherine and team handled the bumps well and dealt with all our weekend calls without compliant. “We are delighted with our extension – garden room, downstairs cloakroom, car port and bedroom above. Leo, Katharine and Ryan were very considerate of our family, including the arrival of a baby mid build!! They listened to our queries and accommodated our requests as and when required.
